Landscape Maintenance Versus Lawn Maintenance
Landscape maintenance and lawn maintenance are separate services. Many clients combine both, but it is important to understand the difference:
- Landscape maintenance: bed weeding, shrub attention, plant cleanup, leaf and debris removal, bed-edge monitoring, and seasonal landscape needs
- Lawn maintenance: mowing, edging, trimming, and blowing hard surfaces
What May Be Included in a Recurring Visit
Only according to the selected plan, a recurring landscape maintenance visit may include:
- Light hand weeding
- Shrub pruning as needed and seasonally appropriate
- Leaf removal
- Debris pickup
- Bed cleanup
- Lawn cutting if included in the plan
- Recommendations for larger corrective work
What Is Separate
The following are not included in standard recurring landscape maintenance unless specifically listed in the plan:
- Large cleanups are separate
- Mulch is separate unless included
- Plant replacement is separate
- Fertilizer and weed-control programs are separate unless listed
- Visit frequency depends on plan and season
