Professional Lawn Mowing at the Right Height

Professional lawn mowing at the right height, with crisp edging and blowing every visit.

Proper lawn mowing is more than cutting grass — it's mowing at the right height for the season, keeping blades sharp to prevent tearing, and edging walks and beds for a finished look. Our weekly and bi-weekly mowing routes keep Northern Virginia lawns healthy, thick, and looking great all season. One-time cuts are available for any customer. For recurring weekly or bi-weekly mowing service, lawn mowing is offered exclusively to customers who also maintain a landscape maintenance or lawn maintenance plan with Justin's Yard & Garden — this keeps our mowing routes efficient and our recurring customers prioritized.

What's Included

  • Height-correct mowing (3.5–4 inches for tall fescue)
  • Sharp blades to prevent tearing
  • Precise edging along walks and beds
  • Blowing of hard surfaces
  • Weekly or bi-weekly scheduling

Why You Might Need Lawn Mowing

Common situations we see across Northern Virginia yards.

Your grass is cut too short and it's thinning out, inviting weeds.

You're spending your Saturday mowing when you'd rather be doing anything else.

Your current service leaves clumps, misses edges, and doesn't blow off the walks.

Northern Virginia Considerations

Northern Virginia's tall fescue grows fastest in spring (April–June) when weekly mowing is essential, and slows in summer heat when bi-weekly is fine. We never remove more than 1/3 of the grass blade in a single mowing — cutting too short is the #1 cause of thin, weed-prone lawns in NoVA. We mulch clippings to return nutrients to the soil.
